Choosing the Right Paddle
Which paddle is right for me if I'm a complete beginner?
Start with the Club Series — it's forgiving on off-center hits, light enough to maneuver, and built to last through the learning curve. You don't need a tour-grade paddle until you know exactly how you play.
Which paddle should I choose if I want more control and spin?
Go with the Pro Series or Control Series. The Pro Series has a raw carbon fiber face that generates excellent spin and precision, while the Control Series is optimized specifically for touch players who live at the kitchen line.
What's the difference between carbon fiber and fiberglass paddles?
Carbon fiber faces are lighter, stiffer, and generate more spin — better for control and finesse players. Fiberglass faces have more flex and produce a slightly softer, more powerful feel — better for players who like to drive the ball hard.
What grip size should I choose?
If you have smaller hands or like fast wrist movement, go with a small grip (4–4⅛ inch). For most adult players, a standard grip (4¼–4½ inch) works best. When in doubt, go smaller — you can always build up a grip with overgrip tape, but you can't shrink a handle.
Is a heavier or lighter paddle better?
Lighter paddles (under 7.5oz) give you more control and are easier on your arm during long sessions. Heavier paddles (above 8oz) generate more power with less swing effort. Most players — especially beginners — do better starting lighter and adding weight later if needed.

Are your paddles USAPA approved for tournament play?
Yes — the Pro Series and Control Series are fully USAPA-approved for sanctioned tournament play. Certification is listed on each product page. The Club and Junior Series are built for recreational and facility use.
How long will a Velox paddle last?
With normal use and basic maintenance, a Velox paddle should last 1 to 3 years. All paddles come with a one-year limited warranty covering manufacturing defects — so if something goes wrong through no fault of your own, we make it right.
Do your paddles come in different grip sizes?

How do I take care of my paddle so it lasts?
Wipe the face with a damp microfiber cloth after every session to keep the surface texture clean and spin-ready. Store it in a paddle cover away from heat and direct sunlight — car trunks in summer are one of the fastest ways to ruin a paddle core.

Do you offer free shipping?
Yes — standard shipping is free on all US orders over $85. Orders below that threshold have shipping costs calculated at checkout based on your location.
Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?

You have 30 days from delivery to return it in original condition for a full refund — no lengthy interrogation, no restocking fees. Just email Info@veloxpickleball.com with your order number and we'll handle the rest.
What if my paddle arrives damaged or defective?
Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with a photo and your order number. We'll send a replacement or issue a full refund immediately — no return shipping required on defective items.
